Over the next 18 months, a number of significant projects will take place in the Maitai area, with millions of dollars in investment from Council, Government, and the private sector.

These projects include slip repairs following recent weather events, infrastructure upgrades to support growth and improve services, and transport improvements to make it easier and safer for people to get around.

Two of these projects are directly linked to the upcoming Maitahi Development.

  • Maitahi Development Cycleway

    The project includes constructing the cycleway and shared path bridge along Maitai Valley Rd.

  • Sewer and Water Main Trunk Installation

    The project's scope is to install the sewer line and water main trunk along the Maitai Road and Maitai Valley Road.
