Poorman Valley Stream Field Guide Cover Competition:

Nelson City Council’s Healthy Streams team are looking for a cover design for the Poorman Valley Stream Field Guide, with a prize of $250 going to the winning designer.

The Healthy Streams Field Guides are collaborative projects which aim to encourage exploration of the nature and biodiversity of the stream, and to develop a community of care around our freshwater ecosystems. We encourage design students and artists to send us their ideas for a cover image to be used as a background for the text and logos.

Remember to make sure your design is all your own work (eg. It does not infringe any copyright). and shows the judges how this awa should be celebrated and cared for.

Bear in mind that there will be text and a logo over the top of your design.

Your design can be in any medium you choose, attach an image to this form (and be prepared to submit the original for a high-resolution scan if your design is chosen) - happy designing!
