The Tahuna Beach Camp is much loved by Nelsonians and visitors alike. Thousands of people every year enjoy what the camp has to offer, and it is normally jam-packed over the summer holiday period.

The lease for the land that the Tahuna Beach Camp is situated on is scheduled to be renewed this year.

Nelson City Council is proposing to renew this lease with the current operators, the Tahuna Beach Camp Incorporated. The proposed new lease term is for 33 years. This will be split into three terms of eleven years.

The Local Government Act 2002 requires us to seek feedback from the public about what they think about this proposal.
