Work has been progressing well in January, as the contractor focuses on preparing the area to install the new bridge.

Work continues in the stream, and extra care has been taken to not disturb our precious aquatic life. Water quality is regularly monitored, and where work needs to occur in the stream bed, water is being diverted by a pump and fish and eels are carefully removed.

Earthworks are well underway, and rock has been brought on site that will be used to make sure the creek does not erode in the future.
