The installation of the stormwater pipe on Mount Street has been progressing well, and is now two thirds complete.

While the road is closed we have also taken the opportunity to give the trees a prune to tidy them up.

The next part of the project will involve constructing new sumps (stormwater collection areas) and kerbs along the bank. This work will start next week (Monday 14 September).

At this stage we expect the works to be completed ahead of schedule, with the final road sealing planned for mid-November.
