Mount Street and Konini Street Upgrades

Nelson needs some upgrades to its aging infrastructure. This includes work to upgrade services in Mount Street and Konini Street.

We will start working on Mount Street first (2020), followed by Konini Street (2021 and 2023).

The work on Gloucester and Konini Streets has been completed.

Mount Street stormwater

Start August 2020 - for 10 weeks

Resealing

Resealing of Mount Street following the completion of the stormwater upgrade. The initial sealing on Mount Street will be a pre-levelling mix - to smooth out the bumps on the road.
This will settle in the heat of summer (and with traffic) before the road will be chip-sealed. This is scheduled for February/March 2021.
