It covers 1,527m² and is held under certificates of title NL1B/1267, NL 165/60, and NL 111/73. The property includes a commercial building providing retail and office space, staff amenities, and a large, sealed yard.

Currently used by Council as a public bus hub, the site will be available for purchase after the bus terminus relocates to Millers Acre by June 2025 (subject to a funding decision in December 2024).

The Council encourages development proposals to consider public pedestrian access from Bridge Street to Wakatu Square.
