We have completed the majority of footpath works across the site now. Crews are now finalising the raised crossing at the Hardy Street intersection. It is expected that pedestrians can use this crossing later this week.

There is one more raised crossing to install at the Nile Street intersection. Our crew will be in touch with affected properties shortly.

The road reconstruction is taking shape between Hardy Street and Tasman Street. The remainder of the basecourse (the first layer of the road) is to be placed in the next two weeks. This will be followed by sealing the road.

The final touches of the project will then be completed by crews. This will include new line marking, installing new street signage, and constructing a new timber post and board fence between Hardy Street and Tasman Street.

Subject to weather and any other unforeseen delays, we expect to disestablish from site on Friday 10 November 2023.
