We’re inviting school groups to help bring colour and creativity to Bridge Street by painting a series of panels that will be displayed in the city centre. These panels will be on Bridge Street for 18 months!

We’re looking for bright, positive artwork that reflects our community, celebrates creativity, and adds visual interest to the street.

Designs don’t need to be perfect, just thoughtful, bold, and full of personality.

Here are some ideas if you need them:

- Nelson Landmarks

Isaac Construction have installed these panels for their site yard. They are a company that value and prioritise conservation. They even have an Isaac Conservation and Wildlife Trust covering 1100 hectares of land in Christchurch.

Their work has helped play a crucial role in the recovery programmes for five endangered native bird species:

• Kākāriki karaka/orange-fronted parakeet Nationally Critical
• Tūturuatu/NZ shore plover Nationally Critical
• Kakī/black stilt Nationally Critical
• Whio/blue duck Nationally Vulnerable
• Pāteke/brown teal At risk - Recovering

They've even donated time and resource towards significant repairs at the Brook Waimārama Sanctuary.
