The temporary roundabout was installed, however safety monitoring highlighted that it was not helping improvement the safe movement of traffic.

The road layout was changed to allow vehicles to travel out of Para Para Road, and onto Rutherford Street. This has helped those travelling from the Trafalgar Centre or Countdown heading South.

Work has also progressed well on this project. We did run into a few challenges with the number of service lines running under the intersection, but the contractor did a great job to resolve this.

The underground work is now complete, and the new kerb has been poured.

The project is currently on track, and we hope that the weather plays its part over the next few weeks.
