We invite vendors to secure a stall at this year’s Matariki Festival. This is an opportunity for community groups and small businesses to sell traditional arts & crafts, and a variety of culturally diverse traditional kai.

The Mākete Pō (night market) for this year’s Matariki Festival will be held in Rutherford Park along the Maitai River.

Stallholder and vendor information:

Stall fees are $40 per site. This must be paid prior to the event.

The site will open for stallholder access at 3.00 pm.

Health & safety checks and waste audits will be completed at 4.00 pm.

Electricity access will be limited, and appliances must be tagged and tested.

LPG gas bottles must be approved by a qualified technician.

All stallholders will be required to provide their own equipment, tables, chairs, water etc.

All packaging and serve ware must be compostable, recyclable or reusable.

No sugary products (such as drinks, lollies, sweets, etc) will be sold at this event.

Applications open on Monday 9 May and close on Friday 10 June 2022. More information will be provided to stallholders after this date.
