Construction is about to start on the next stage of the Tahunanui Pathways Project. Residents will have received letters from the contractor with information about the project.

This stage of the project is scheduled to start on 10 February and is expected to be completed at the end of June 2020.

The work will begin on Parkers Road and the contractor will setup a yard in Centennial Reserve.

Due to the road layout along Parkers Road, narrow lanes, speed restrictions and a one way/stop go setup may be needed at times.

If access to individual properties is likely to be affected, Council and/or its Contractor will contact those properties directly to provide the relevant information.

Bus stops will be shifted at times, but notices will be placed on the bus stops informing users where the nearest alternative stop will be located.
