Sites across Nelson are due to have Solar Panels installed in the coming months. Funding for these solar panels are a mix of Council funding and Government grants through the Energy Efficiency & Conservation Authority (EECA).

- Saxton Suburbs Football Pavilion

NCC & ECCA FUNDED SOLAR PANELS
- Tāhunanui Community Hub
- Pūtangitangi Greenmeadows Centre
- Saxton Netball Pavilion

The EECA will also cover the full cost of installations on two community sites, which are still be announced.

These installations are due for completion in August in time for spring and summer.
