Nelsonians love their dogs, and through our Annual Plans we have been asked a number of times for a spot so people can exercise their dogs off lead safely.
The dog park construction has now been completed. There is now a new dog exercise area (over 1 hectare in size) in Marsden Valley, opposite Marsden Valley Cemetery.
