We have a project scheduled to replace the ageing wastewater main on Quarantine Road.

The sewer pipe has been showing signs of failure, so its replacement is essential to prevent future disruptions. We also plan to increase the size of the pipe to cater for improved flows and development in the area.

The work is proposed to start in September and will take around 3 weeks to complete. (material supply and weather dependent).

The road will still have two lanes of traffic open, though speed restrictions will be in place. Please consider this if travelling through the area.
