Brief for the Logo Design
- To design a logo for Project Mahitahi which will become a visual representation of the project and will be used on all communications including websites and social media platforms as well as supporting resources such as flags or clothing (i.e. tee-shirt logos)
- The logo should reflect the vision of the Project.
- The logo should reflect the Project origins from the Kotahitanga mō te Taiao Alliance. You may need to do some research on this project to help inform your ideas, below are some links that may help you:

- The logo will work in both colour and black and white, in both portrait and landscape format.
- When submitted electronically, your designs should be in either JPEG or PNG formats, and be at least 600 pixels wide and tall.
Competition Details
- The competition will run from 8 December 2020 and will close at 5 pm 5 February 2021.
- Your design should be at a stage that is a well-developed concept, but as the winner will be working with a professional designer to finalise it to a professional level, it does not need to be in a format ready for use.
- Your design needs to be shown in two ways: One showing your design in colour, and one that shows the design in black and white. We need to see that the logo works in both landscape and portrait format so please make sure that in submitting your two versions, one is in landscape and one is in portrait format. If you wish to show more than two versions of your idea, that is also okay.
- Each version of your design should be in A5 format and can be submitted on the same page, or on separate pages.
- We prefer to receive your design electronically, but will accept hard copy if this is the only way for you to submit. All designs will be uploaded onto a web page to enable judging.
- If submitted electronically, your designs should be in either JPEG or PNG formats, and be at least 600 pixels wide and tall.
- Entries need to be submitted to the Project Mahitahi Governance Group either by email or in hard copy:
