A redeveloped Millers Acre will become the new home of the Nelson Arts Hub.

Located right at the gateway to the city, this high-profile spot will showcase the best of Whakatū’s arts and culture, with workshops, galleries, and a new arts development agency driving fresh opportunities for creators.

The Arts Hub and art development agency will occupy the northern sections of Millers Acre adjacent to River Kitchen, the Nelson Bus Hub (currently under construction) and DOC Visitor Centre.

Arthouse Architects has been selected to design the new space.

Construction is expected to begin in March and be completed in June 2026.
