In August we are introducing a new fleet of electric buses. To make sure these buses have a safe place to park, we need to make a couple of changes to the current parking location on Bridge Street.

The first part of this project is the deconstruction of a small building on the site, followed by work on the bus parking area and an upgrade of the passenger area. This will take around 5 weeks to complete.

From Friday 23 June, there's a detour for those departing from and arriving into Nelson's City Centre using Route 1 or Route 2. Passengers will need to get on and off the bus from Haven Road (near Red Gallery).

All other Routes will continue to leave from Wakatu carpark.

Please note: This section of Haven Road will be busy with passengers and buses. We recommend that vehicles use alternative routes instead of passing through this area.
