Project updates on the Hardy Vanguard water main renewal
To keep our Smart Little City running the way we need it to, we need to upgrade and improve some of our infrastructure. This includes replacing the aging water main that runs along Hardy Street and into Vanguard Street (from Rutherford Street down to 70 Vanguard Street). This pipe has failed several times recently, so its replacement is essential.
This project is scheduled for April 2021 (it was delayed until after Easter to help businesses with their Easter Sales periods).
We are working with businesses in this area to make sure the disruption is minimised.
