The pathway is now complete. Some planting will occur in the area and fencing will be in place until the grass seed starts growing.

A big thank you to all users in the area for allowing us to get on with this work with minimal disruptions.

A new concrete shared pathway is being constructed from Champion Road to the Saxton Field Velodrome. The construction of this new shared pathway will form another link from Saxton Fields to Champion Road along with improving the safety of both pathway users and road users.

Works are scheduled to begin in late April and will take approximately two months to complete.

There will be traffic management in place along Champion Road to allow the contractor to safely construct the new pathway. The work is being completed in stages, allowing most of the parking to remain available.
